OpenVoice organized a Debate Training Session designed to introduce students to British Parliamentary debate and strengthen their foundational debating skills. The workshop was led by experienced debaters with national-level competitive experience and provided participants with both structured instruction and opportunities for interactive discussion.
Tournament Highlights & Award Recap
The workshop focused on four key areas: an introduction to BP debate rules, debate strategies, motion analysis, and Q&A with experience sharing. Participants learned how to approach a motion, identify the central issues in a debate, structure arguments, and develop effective strategies during preparation and competition.
The interactive Q&A session also gave students the opportunity to learn directly from experienced debaters and gain practical insights into competitive debating.
